Introduction to the department.

Forensic Medicine department of KMDC started in the year 1994, according to PMDC regulation of MBBS coarse the department of Forensic Medicine had an important role form very beginning of Medical students council ha allow 60 hours, student are examined in 3rd year MBBS. Department plays an important role in impacting the knowledge of Forensic Medicine toxicology by conducting lecture, demonstrator and tutorial classes in the laboratory practical classes.

At Abbasi Shaheed Hospital which is the teaching hospital of KMDC there is a medicolegal section where student learn subject by examining medicolegal cease postmortem examination with self is being conducted by additional police surgeon and medicolegal officers.

MUSEUM.
In our museum there are number of specimen of mediclolegal importance comprising viscera, fioetus, bone, poison, weapons, of assault, platic, models, instrument.

AUDIO VISUAL LIBRARY.
In this library there are video cassettes which helps the student in understanding the subject.

LABORATORY.
In laboratory students conduct practical on biological stains, blood semen.
