DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY

HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

PROF. SOHAIL RAFI KHAN
Ph.D (U.K.)

*14 publication in international, indexed and PMDC recognized journals.
*The published papers are in the field of clinical biochemistry in general, with a focus on lipid metabolism in diabetes mellitus and its relationship to the development coronary heart disease of especially relating to the changes in the lipoprotein subfractions (e.g LDL, HDL, HDL subfractions).
*Research projects currently being carried out deal with leptons and its relationship to diabetes mellitus and lipid metabolism.
*Examiner and paper setter for Karachi University, Baqai and Hamdard University.
